The Velvet Underground - 1969: The Velvet Underground Live with Lou Reed - LP

First Vinyl Reissue in Over 40 Years, 2 LP

This sleeper fan favorite from Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground gets its first vinyl reissue in over 40 years. Drawn from two late-1969 dates, at the End of Cole Ave in Dallas and the Matrix in San Francisco, and sourced from fan tape recordings, two-track mixdowns straight from the live console, and acetate copies. Few Velvet Underground recordings exist from before 1970, which has made this a treasured gem among fans, showcasing a stripped-down and vulnerable Lou Reed with a band at arguably their creative zenith.
