Steve Jordan & The Jordan Brothers - (It) Ain't No Big Thing - CD
The Jordan Brothers "(It) Ain't No Big Thing" on ID Records, with 18 tracks, 16 are unreleased. Loaded with sweet Rock, R&B, and Latino songs from 1965 recorded in Phoenix by Chuck Hauke at Hauke Labs. These are the first recordings by Esteban "Steve" Jordan and brother Boni before moving to Texas in 1967, where he would focus more on his accordion and Tejano music for the rest of his career. He mastered more than 30 instruments and played all styles of music, including Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Blues, Mambo, Country, Tejano, and Zydeco. Jordan thought out of the box, ahead of his contemporaries, using phase shifters, Echoplexes, and fuzz boxes. He pushed his diatonic accordion to its limits, releasing more than 20 albums and 30 45s in his 45-year recording career, which started here in Phoenix, with the exciting music on this CD—featuring quality sound, many pictures, and a 12-page booklet, compiled by John P. Dixon. More Arizona musical history for you to enjoy and appreciate. La Bamba!
